Once Upon a Potionโฆ
๐ฅ A tired mum with no village nor instruction manual
Lunaโs Imaginarium was born out of the deeply personal journey of navigating motherhood in a world that often feels isolating and overwhelming. As a parent grappling with severe postpartum depression, ADHD, and autism, I found myself longing for tools to create moments of respite and connection โ not just for and with my daughter, but for myself too.
She needed a โจspark of wonderโจ, a way to explore her independence and curiosity, and I needed space to breathe and rediscover my strength.
๐งช Lunaโs Imaginarium was created from the heart of a crafter, a lifelong โhobbies collectorโ, and the brain of a techie. Iโve always been drawn to blending STEM + creativityโto spark curiosity, inspire experiments, and help children understand and invent the world around them.
What started as a simple quest to occupy my daughterโs hands and heart quickly grew into something bigger. I realised that many parentsโespecially mothersโfeel the same pressures, the same exhaustion, the same desire to nurture their childโs confidence and independenceโฆ while trying to reclaim their own. ๐
๐ซ I believe in the power of kindness, honesty, and community. I believe in creating a space where parents feel heard and supported (not judged), and where children can discover the magic of their own imagination. Lunaโs Imaginarium isnโt just about toys or potionsโitโs about fostering relationships:
๐ฉโ๐ง Between parents and children
๐ฌ Between mums and daughters
๐ต Between grandparents and littlelies
๐ก And between families and the broader village weโre all trying to rebuild.
Iโm not a business person. Iโm introverted, and I do this in my spare time to keep my sanity. But if my story resonates with youโ๐ letโs build our own village.
Iโll bring spoons. ๐ฅโจ
